NBC’s “Today” show host Matt Lauer has been accused of cheating on wife Annette Roque. According to reports, wife Annette supposedly learned of Matt Lauer’s alleged affair from the wife of a “Today” show co-worker.
The affair is said to have taken place during Matt Lauer’s coverage of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada held on February 9-26.
The National Enquirer first broke the story citing a confirmation from Annette’s mother of the marital discourse.
Reportedly, Annette’s mom told the National Enquirer Matt Lauer has left the family home.
The talk is, Matt Lauer chose to stay in Vancouver for Valentine’s Day instead of coming home to Annette. It is not clear when Annette heard of the rumored affair, but when Annette supposedly confronted Matt Lauer there was a big fight which ended in Matt Lauer moving out of the family’s New York apartment.
